Emmy the Great - Dinosaur Sex

Emmy the Great, cuyo nombre real es Emma-Lee Moss, es una cantante de folk nacida en Hong Kong en 1984. De padre inglés y madre china, con 12 años emigró a Londres junto a su familia. Emmy se interesó por la música desde bien joven, y después de colaborar con las bandas Lightspeed Champion y Noah and the Whale, comenzó a publicar en internet una serie de demos bajo el nombre de Emmy the Great. Dos años después editó su primer single, "Secret Circus" y en 2009, su primer album, "First Love".

Su segundo disco, "Virtue", se publicó en Junio de 2011. Las canciones mezclan temáticas como mitos, cuentos de hadas y vidas de santos, pero el tema que más nos interesa es el que abre el album: "Dinosaur Sex". Es la siguiente:



En la canción, Emmy the Great se lamenta de que el sexo de los dinosaurios no condujo a nada pero deja abierta la puerta a múltiples interpretaciones. Ahí dejo la letra:
